Our history

Telehouse Canada is a subsidiary of the KDDI Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and one of Japan’s leading telecommunications service providers that focuses on creating smart infrastructures through IoT technologies and open innovation. With a 58 million-strong customer base, KDDI has a rich history spanning 70 years and opened its first purpose-built colocation data centre in Europe in 1990.

Telehouse data centres are strategically located in prime city locations around the world, offering key connections between major cities such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, New York and Tokyo.

Our data centres provide North America with direct access to connectivity partners, including carriers, ISPs and ASPs through our dark fibre network. Today, we host one of Canada’s the most connected colocation facilities.
